Calling all 'Caniacs,' Raising Cane's in San Bernardino will open next week – Press-Enterprise

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will kick off its first day of business in San Bernardino before dawn on Thursday, Jan. 18.

A grand opening celebration will start at 6:30 a.m., when customers can enter a drawing to give 20 of them “free Canes for a year.”

The restaurant at 1857 S. Tippecanoe Ave. is the chain’s second location in the Inland Empire. The first opened in Riverside on Oct. 31.

Cane’s has a short menu — chicken fingers with sauce, fries, Texas toast and coleslaw — but one that inspires loyalty among “Caniacs.” Store openings, including Riverside’s, inspire fans to camp out for the chance to be among the “lucky 20.”

Other giveaways will also take place, according to a news release.

A ribbon-cutting will take place at 8:15 a.m. Doors will open at 9 a.m.

The restaurant, which is at the Tippecanoe offramp across the street from In-N-Out and El Pollo Loco, created 120 jobs, the news release said.
