“She was found not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of the crime,” said Ricardo Santiago, spokesperson for the District Attorney’s office.

Jessica Paige Greenback, 25, pleaded “no contest” to charges stemming from her suspected responsibility in the 2015 murder of her brother in their Canyon Country home in October.

But a hearing to determine her sanity at the time of the killing was later requested, according to officials.

Greenback’s father was grazed by a bullet, according to officials.

A third person, James Gorman, was allegedly shot at by Jessica Greenback, but not injured.
